CLASSIC FIAT 500 F (1971) "OUTSTANDING CONDITION"

500 F 1971 02/26

We are delighted to offer for sale this truly beautiful 1971 Fiat 500 F, presented in its original and highly desirable Fiat 456 Navy Blue.

A charming and increasingly collectible example of one of the world’s most iconic car.

This little gem was imported into the UK by its last owner in 2016, immediately after undergoing a comprehensive, no-expense-spared restoration in Siena, Tuscany, Italy.

Following its arrival in Britain, the car was carefully stored in a dry garage while awaiting its first UK registration.

Unfortunately, due to changing circumstances and priorities, the owner never completed the registration process and the car remained untouched in storage until November last year, when the decision was finally made to offer it for sale.

Upon inspection, we were genuinely impressed. Aside from a generous layer of dust, this 500 proved to be in outstanding condition throughout. The restoration has stood the test of time remarkably well, and the car retains all the correct features that define a proper 1971 F model.

Importantly, originality has been preserved with great care. The car still boasts its genuine rubber floor mats and, incredibly, its original red upholstery – both in superb condition.

The interior presents beautifully and offers a wonderfully authentic 1970s atmosphere.

Mechanically, the car is superb. The entire braking system and suspension setup are virtually new. The engine and gearbox are also effectively as-new, having covered only around ten miles since the restoration was completed. The car starts, runs and drives exactly as it should.
A particularly valuable upgrade carried out during the restoration is the installation of a FULLY SYNCHROMESH GEARBOX. This thoughtful enhancement provides a more modern and intuitive driving experience, eliminating the need for double-declutching while still preserving the character of the car.

For complete peace of mind, we have carried out a full service to ensure everything is in excellent working order. The car has also benefited from a fresh professional polish, beautifully enhancing the depth and shine of its original Fiat 456 Dark Blue paintwork.

To complete the look, a brand-new set of whitewall tyres and a new chrome luggage rack have been fitted perfectly complementing the elegant lines of this charming 500 and enhancing its unmistakable vintage appeal.

We have now completed the full UK registration process. The car comes with a brand-new V5C registration document and has been fitted with correct, original-style black and silver metal number plates, in keeping with its age and character.

This is a rare opportunity to acquire a fully restored, mechanically sorted, exceptionally original and now fully UK-registered example — ready to be driven and enjoyed immediately.

Small in size, huge in character.
